Getting the COVID-19 Vaccine in our Communities
Ontario has a three-phase plan that prioritizes COVID-19 vaccines for those at greatest risk of severe illness and those who care for them. For more information on the plan, including where we currently are, please visit Ontario’s vaccination website.
Locally, public health units are leading the vaccination rollout in our communities, tailored to each community’s needs. They are working closely with partners to roll out the COVID-19 vaccine as quickly and equitably as possible. Planning is underway to ensure that everyone who wants the vaccine can receive it.
For specific information about the vaccine rollout and vaccination clinics in your community, please refer to your local public health unit’s website. This information continues to change as more vaccine becomes available, so please check the public health website regularly for the most current information.
For residents of the Central West area, please see the chart below for our local public health units and relevant links to vaccine information. If you don’t know your local public health unit, you can find it by using this helpful online tool.
