The Premier's Council on Improving Health Care and Ending Hallway Medicine (the Council) has released its second report entitled A healthy Ontario: Building a sustainable health care system The Council’s first report, released in January, recognized variations that exist across the province with respect to access to care, and identified areas of opportunity to improve the system.  Building on that, the second report provides advice on how to achieve the new vision for health care in Ontario, and a vision for a modern, sustainable and integrated health care system that is centred on the patient.
