A long-time resident of Brampton, Angélique Rebelo has spent the last 25 years as a paralegal specializing in litigation, managing a portfolio of cases involving all aspects of the court process. Other areas of practice include estate administration, family law, collections and residential real estate.
In addition to having worked in several law firms, Angélique brings to the LHIN Board of Directors a background in both the insurance and financial services industries. Of note, as a Certified Project Manager, Angélique successfully streamlined several processes in the legal department of one of Canada's big five banks, resulting in time-savings and cost-avoidance.
With plans to show people how to take ownership of their health through dietary and lifestyle choices, Angélique has recently set her sights on a new career in culinary nutrition. Actively engaged with her neighbourhood association and children's school council, Angélique is pleased to join the Central West LHIN Board of Directors, where she hopes to help improve the local health care system by placing the needs of patients and families first.
